more attention  to the editing so I would know more for future references. Looking around the room you can see everyone so into their work and all of the different ideas that people have. From old grandmas to we explodes thing Besides that I am looking forward to everything that we are going to do. We have The Prisoner, wall paintings, books, commercials, and STAC live. this is going to be the busiest year I have ever had.Oh and thank you Kalli for doing an amazing job with the editing.

Daily pratice

My daily practice is to write about anything that interest me. At  first I was going to do a the fashion blog but turned into what I found interesting to me that day. In the beginning I had no clue about what I was going to write about fashion. but I started writing why I liked the outfits and what I would pair them up with but I didn't seem to interest me enough so now i have decided to just write about things that entertain or strike my eye. I have a good feeling that i might not be ale to keep up with writing everyday but I'll try to a least write as much as I can.

So glad its over.

As you can tell by my title I am so happy that portfolios are over. I had everything I was gonna do planned out and then I get a email that said everything is due on Wednesday. So I start rushing to get everything finished and I should really stop procrastinating. The Empty Space may have been confusing at some points but overall i think that he has a way of thinking that no one would have realized. he likes to get start to the point but sometimes go against his own thought and you can tell. I think that he is brilliant even though I was about to fall asleep. what i got from the whole chapter was that there was suppose to be balance on stage.

Book Binding and Tell No One

Book Binding was actually fun, whereas I thought I was going to be boring. But I wish i would have brought in a better material to use because a couple people were also using bandannas. Also I don't think you need to know the numbers people have because from some of the books you can tell whose they are.
When I got an email the first thing my eyes landed on was the subject saying M&A /////////////. To be honest I almost had a heart attack until I saw it was from Luke. Tell No One was one amazing movie and when I tried to explain it to my friends because my mind was so screwed I didn't know where to start explaining. The plot was so complicated and the connection that all of the characters had to each other was almost impossible to explain.

Trip to go see Swan Lake

My favorite part of this trip would definitely have to be the community gardens. They were beautiful and so creative in a whole different way. When my group walked through one of the gardens that were open I was amazed about how much you can do with something so simple. My art teacher always told me that i could always use junk for pieces and i never realized how much you can do with everyday items until I saw the gardens. also the gardens really showed how much people cared about their community in order to put effort into making a plain piece of land so unique.
Also it seem very lucky that my group and Luke got to see one of the buildings before it was going to get renovated. Inside the building you can tell that it was pretty old and use to be a place where they were religious. What I didn't understand was why they were closing down the building except for the fact that it was filthy. Overall the experience to see the building was great and was different.

be kind rewind

This week went by pretty fast and was lots of fun. The be kind rewind movies were more exciting then they sounded. When I talk to my friends they were telling e how they saw Jesus running down the halls. I could only imagine their reactions when they saw everyone in STAC running around. I definitely learned a lot from this  and how you have to really pace yourself. From all of the running around and filming (hoping you don't mess up) it was a learning experience. Also not to use so many places in different scenes when you only have one hour!

A very long week

The Prisoner this week was actually the clearer episode of The prisoner to understand but what confused me was why Number 6 did not confront anyone that he was the real Number 6, not the fraud. If I was in Number 6's place I definitely would not no what to do. If I had confronted Number 24 She might have been a spy and if I had confronted the fake Number 6 and Number 2 they would have brainwashed me (Number 6) again. Even though this episode is one of the clearer episodes of The Prisoner I can't say it is my favorite.
In the of the movie, To Sir, With Love was hard for me to catch on at first to what was going on because I do not usually watch old movies. Towards the end it was predictable that he would not take the job but what I thought the movie was gonna end like was that the students were gonna get mad that he was taking another job. parts of the ending was quite predictable while some weren't.

Best trip I have ever been on!

Since the beginning of my 14 years of life I have never been allowed during a field trip to go walk around the city alone with classmates. There are so many pictures taken and so many things to see that it would have definitely not have been as much fun if we had teachers tagging along our side (no offense Luke). It was absolutely the most fun I have had in a while. Being able to walk into a museum and know the artist there was very satisfying. Every where i turned there were a ton of people with accents which I have found to be remarkable. I tried guessing which accent was from where but towards the end I couldn't keep up at all! I was actually surprised to see Claudius Oldenburg work there because his work usually huge! I remember going to Whitey museum and seeing a 6 foot tall blow up ice pack. I consider his work to be amazing. I can definitely say I am looking forward to more STAC trips.

Psychogeography #2 (continue)

My favorite picture from this assignment will have to be the picture of these two fences with a thin spiderweb hanging faintly in the middle. The light may not hit the web at a good angle but I have to say it is the one that interests me the most.

Psychogeography #2

Honestly I had no clue of what the theme was for this psycho geography assignment but when I started taking picture of anything I understood a bit of the concept. Some things just can't be explain till you find out for yourself. I may not have completely understood the whole concept I think I may have a pretty good idea. After running around my whole neighborhood I have finally chosen some of the pictures that fit into the concept.

I had completely forgotten!

I have to admit high school is pretty stress full! Going to the community was super fun! I had a great time and learned a lot even though I'm not an actress. I can definitely say I was super nervous about dancing in front of people but if I am going to look ridiculous in front of people might as well have fun right? Acting is not that easy and I really give credit to all the actors and actress out there because that is some serious skill! To be able to think and improvise front the top of your head can get quite award when you don't answer fast enough to make the conversation smooth.
This episode of The Prisoner would have to be the best I have seen so far. I thought it was hilarious when he went into his dream and tricked them and toyed with them. I really have to say he is a genius. he is also very observant to remember Number 14 being an old lady. He is very serious but I can see he enjoys mocking all of the Number 2s.

Looking through a window

Looking through a window

I decided that I would take pictures of what I see on the other side of windows because it affects my mood at times. when I'm at school and i just see trees I would usually get bored but if I see the city I'm usually more awake. Some of the pictures taken from when I was on a train in China and others were taken from my house. Ever go in the car and when your looking out the window you become mesmerized? Well that's what always happens to me and i usually end up falling asleep all the time.

Starting over....

The Pantoum we did did week was fun but quite embarrassing. It was pretty fun and easy to write but to make it sound poetic and easy to dance to was definitely not the easiest thing to do int the world, sorry about that Ilana. Also as you can see I'm not the worlds best dancer and poet but i tried.
Much to my surprise I enjoyed The Prisoner a lot this week, maybe its because there was more going on. I saw lots of symbolism in this episode but didn't realize about the circle till people started recognizing it. I am still confused that he would trust women so easily but maybe it's because number two made it seem like she was running away. But I still can't believe that he went through all that trouble and ended back in the village. It must be really aggravating for him.
I was really disappointed we had to restart the whole game  but I think that it will make the upcoming game very interesting. Also its a good idea to get other people that are not in STAC to play so they can try it out. Lots of people think that STAC s just for singing so i think this will give them an idea about what we do.

The Beginning of High School

I really can't believe I am in High School now. Let me just say that these people are tall and quite intimidating. It was so confusing I would just walk around hoping thehall I go down is the one where my  class is. I was actually really excited for STAC. Some of the members were really friendly and some acted quite crazy but they are pretty funny at the same time. I guess as freshmen we look quite small to them. As for the teacher I can totally say that he is true to the bone.
When I first walked into the room everyone knew each other and there was so much stuff going on. As I looked around I saw everyone was so different but they all had this one thing that flowed trough all of them and that would be the talent. I guess thats what STAC is all different people that come together to learn from each other. When I read the STAC code it was totally true, we are like everyone else so what applys to everyone else doesn't apply to us. All I can say is that i am so glad to be part of this.

Art In Colors

It has never came across my mind that art can be easy, creepy, cool, and coloorful at the same time. Colors don't always have to match and the more oppisite they are the longer that image last in your mind. The messier  the better; the more unmatched the more special. I can say that I don't think this class will be like any class I have had before.

The Prisoner

The setting of this episode was unique and unusual. i think the whole point of the town was so it would be like a utopia and wait for him to get paranoid and crack. The beginning was pretty good but towards the end i think they extended it to long. thats just my opinion.
